Through detailed analysis, the latent qualities of the site began to reveal themselves, with its narratives, hidden meanings, agendas, as well as the ever changing layers. By identifying the palimpsest, future interventions and modifications to the urban fabric are able to relate and carry a deeply rooted meaning, while still being sensitive to the very complex historical systems. With an emphasis on sustainability, the comprehensive plan aims to carefully situate contextually relevant design integrations that look to restore the original symbiosis
